Brexit made Britain poorer.

Brexit supporters now know that £100 billion has been a sunk cost ‘benefit’ to no one. Both Conservative and Labour continue to polish a turd. Hiding behind the covid pandemic and Ukraine war helped mask the terrible effects of Brexit, with a compliant media but, look at our economy now – no growth.

As a result the deep, painful and avoidable damage that Brexit has done and will continue to do to the economy and our livelihoods is becoming clearer everyday. Brexit has doubled red tape. It has reduced trade, chocked investment and delivered increased National debt, increased prices and inflation.

Our GDP forecast for 2023 and beyond places the UK at the bottom of developed countries economies. Who would have thought? Trade down 15%, investment down 13%, tax revenue down £40 billion held hostage by formless politicians and media, too scared to tell the truth and highlight a pack of lies.

We are now chained to higher taxes, bigger state, increasing welfare and health costs, with low growth and, the little dinghies are still arriving on our coasts and the passport queues delays grow ever longer for UK citizens.

I nearly forgot, happy third birthday Brexiteers, you’ll be celebrating with memories of ‘getting Brexit done’, what ever that was and, your side of bus message. Shame the NHS was thrown under the bus soon after and, nothing has been done to benefit our country.
