My involvement in Walking is mostly about enjoying the Uks great outdoors. The many routes and friendly people I have met along the ways have been a delight. Each Walk is a new experience and I am encouraged to “travel optimistically”.
Each morning I look at the skies. It helps provide a wake up call and perspective. Seeing the skies amazing colours, scale an light. A good start to each day.
I have every confidence in the future of the UK if young people receive better Education opportunities and support from Government, Organisations and Services. For too long young people have been excluded and ignored.
Importantly, being kind and encouraging others through life are the best contribution I can give. A little Kindness can help so many. Individual actions can change our World.
The first long Walk I did on the first day after Lockdown ended was to Kinder Scout, Derby Dale’s. It was a sunny day and as I reached the top of the Walk I thought of the thousands of people who had been before. Kinder Scout is an iconic UK Walk for many reasons but, being free to Walk outdoors is a gift we should never give up.
Lifestyle is about individual choices. Make your choices based on facts and research not best guesses. Make your own choices and have the confidence to be you. Walking and outdoor activity may help people be healthier and respect Nature more. We all share our World. Lets make every effort to make the best of it, for all.
